The 3rd year in a row that Topps mixed current players and past stars with designs from the past. This was also the 3rd and final year Archives had a base 200 card set that split into 4 designs. The designs from 2014 Topps Archives are 1973 (1-50), 1980 (51-100), 1986 (101-150), and 1989 (151-200). Cards number 201 to 250 are short prints and feature random current and retired stars on one of the 4 designs from the base set. There are several insert sets to past Topps sets, including a Hockey design. There is also a set highlighting the 35th Anniversary of the movie Major League.
